Berlin has many burger joints, but none offer the unique flavors of Gully Burger. Sachin Obaid, originally from Kerala in South India, but raised in the USA, brings his concept to Markthalle Pfefferberg. Expanding his offerings, he serves new American diner classics with a local twist. The Gully Cheese Burger features a Shami beef patty seasoned with kebab spices, topped with dried mango and chili marinated fried onions, pickled cucumbers, and a mint sauce. For extra crunch, try the Kerala Fried Chicken with curry leaf mayonnaise. The vegan Vada Pav Burger features a patty made from fried potato porridge, tamarind chutney, and fried green chili - a Mumbai street food staple since the 1960s. To complement the meal, enjoy Thums Up, a popular spiced Indian cola. And don't forget the fries, seasoned with masala and topped with jalapeños.
